Josh Samuels put the 5th XI ahead in the 8th minute. Poly equalised in the 13th minute with a penalty after Mark Barrell had brought down a Poly attacker. Just two minutes later, John Roberts put The Hill 2-1 up with a towering header from a corner. HT: 2-1 Poly pressed in the second half but Ally Rawson put the 5s 3-1 up in the 75th minute against the run of play. In a tense last few minutes Poly made it 3-2 in the 83rd minute. After five minutes of added time, The Hill held out for a well deserved victory.
