WHFC Youth Development Teams

We have some of the best facilities in north London and a safe, fun, learning environment for children to develop their football talents within a well organised and administered club, and prepare them for the step up into adult football.

Winchmore Hill FC is an FA Charter Standard Club and our coaching philosophy is adopted from the FA’s four-corner model. We want all children involved to feel part of their individual group and the club as a whole.

We are privileged to have Andy Russell as our Youth Development Officer whose role is to organise the whole development system for the club. Andy holds the FA Youth Award and FA Award of Outstanding Contribution to Community Football which led to an invitation to attend an awards ceremony at Buckingham Palace on the 7th October 2013 where, as one of 150 selected people from all over the country, he received a medal from Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, in recognition of his exceptional service to grassroots football.

Andy is the lead coach for our U6’s, 7’s and 8’s development groups and is very passionate about the coaching children should receive.

All WHFC coaches are qualified to FA Level 2/3 standard, and some to UEFA B standard.

For more information please contact Anna Russell on 07834 386814 or use our contact page.
