Anna Russell
Football Secretary and Youth Representative
After Andy Russell helped set up the youth section in its current format, Anna joined shortly after in 2002.
Her initial role was as Youth Secretary and this progressed to being in charge of all our community football. She currently runs our very successful Saturday morning football school, averaging around 90 players at each session!
Anna also runs school holiday football camps throughout the year at the club, averaging around 70 players a week. Feedback from parents is always very positive.
Anna has qualified at Level 2 in Football Coaching and also is volunteering, going into local schools and coaching girls-only football.
Anna is also our Welfare Officer making sure all our coaches are up to date with their DBS and safeguarding courses.
Anna also took on a volunteer role as WHFC Secretary which includes our adult football.
In 2011 Anna won the London Regional Volunteers award - well deserved!!
