Rob's first taste of club membership was in the early seventies as a junior tennis member, mostly memorable for being run over by a member's car on the road up to the club house!
Despite still bearing the scars, no significant damage was incurred although he did let his membership lapse for around 25 years.
Rob rejoined the club into the football section, playing for the 8's and finally retiring after injury having enjoyed a number of successful years with the 5's.
Rob has been Fix Sec for around 15 years after temporarily taking on the job in a moment of weakness (like most committee members!).
