Trevor Watson

Winchmore Hill Football Club are sad to announce the recent death of Trevor Watson, a longstanding member for over 75 years.

He was a Life Member and previously held several positions within the club including, president, trustee, ground secretary and team secretary.

He was known and loved by many and was a toastmaster at numerous club dinners. Younger members will also recognise him as one of our regular Saturday duty officers, a role which he carried out until he was nearly 90 years old. Trevor's daughter Michelle continues to play a huge part in the organisation of our social section, and his grandson Chris plays for our 1st and 2nd XIs.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Margaret , daughter Michelle, son Alastair and the other immediate family members.

Trevor's funeral will be held on Friday 15th July at 4pm at the New Southgate Crematorium, Brunswick Park Road, London N11 1JJ.

The wake will follow immediately afterwards at Winchmore Hill Sports Club, Fords Grove, Winchmore Hill N21 3ER.

The family request no flowers, but any donations will be very welcome for Trevor's favourite charity the RNLI here.
